(ABNJ) as a Sales & Service company for AutoBAR liquor control equipment. His founding principles were a dedication to customer service, honesty and fairness. They served him well. ABNJ handled all types of accounts both national such as Harry M. Stevens, Inc., ARA (ARAMark), AMF worldwide, the US Military worldwide and prestigious accounts like The Four Seasons Restaurant, and the Knife and Fork, Atlantic City. Those founding principles established more than 40 years ago are maintained today. It was common for Mr. Dorsey or one of his sons to travel to tracks like Churchill Downs or Military locations like Wiesbaden, Germany or Fort Hood, Texas to evaluate the Club’s losses, operational needs and recommend the most efficient solution to their problem. ABNJ handled all aspects of the sale from the initial point of contact thru installation and service. In 1970 AutoBAR Systems Corporation a division of Ametek Inc. was purchased and moved to Red Bank, NJ by Mr. Dorsey and a small group of investors. ABNJ continues today specializing in meeting the needs of both the small business owner and large operator. The distributorship is still a family run business, owned and operated by his sons, Albert & John. ♦ Our Company - Strategy & Mission To keep abreast of the new drinking habits of the 70's ABNJ obtained a dealership from Berg Company for metro NY, NJ and Delaware marketing under the company name Total Liquor Controls (TLC.) Berg Company was then and continues today as the Gold Standard in quality, innovation and reliability. It is the only company with a real International distribution network, five full time staff engineers, continuous software upgrades, equipment upgrades and factory trained dealers.
